[Texto disponível apenas em inglês] PRESIRE is a live audiovisual performance exploring the fragility of the present, the desire to hold on to it, and the ways in which experiences continue to live on in memory. The title combines the words present and desire, evoking the tension between living a moment and wanting to preserve it before it has even passed.
Through a constantly evolving dreamlike audiovisual environment, Garics Adél creates a perceptual journey in which images, sounds and recurring motifs emerge, transform and disappear. The audience gradually develops an attachment to these elements, experiencing familiarity, loss and recollection.
The performance reflects on the relationship between presence and memory, revealing how experiences begin to transform even as they unfold, and how their emotional traces continue to shape our perception of the present.
