[Text available only in English] I began creating visuals for parties in 2005 and later the same year started DJing under the name Sassquatch.

From time to time I have combined these two passions, mixing music and visuals simultaneously.

Most memorably I did this at a series of parties I threw called Television - nights that were intended to explore the possibilities of combining music and animation. Other highlights have included DJ/VJ sets at festivals Woodstock and Grietfest and a performance at the one off "VHS" AV-dance party I threw in 2011.

Along with CDJs to play the music, I use a Roldand AX-7 keytar to trigger and manipulate visuals.

Musically, I combine punk funk and nu disco. Visually, my sets blend my own animations with bits of my favourite cartoons and music videos (sometimes re-edited by me to be played with remixes of songs).

I would be very excited to do something similar at an LPM Cape Town after party!
