[Texto disponível apenas em inglês] “Aden” is the second performance of the performance series around the themes of sacred and cyberspace. In the series, a chosen book from today’s culture is denominated as a sacred book for the cyberspace culture of the future. The denomination is performed in a found building and the performers are the messengers in this benediction ceremony.
"Aden" is about the journey of the “Thing” between different dimensions of time and the guidance of the “Engineer” to the “Thing” in this journey. The conceptual text got its inspirations from the book of “Aden” of Stanislaw Lem which is the denominated sacred book of this performance.
It's a two channel video installation. First channel is projecting the montaged video of performance, the second is a montage of the texts from the book and the still images from performance.
