We live in a schizoid data culture. How did it happen that as humanity we need such reflection in non-existent versions, states of aggregation? Contemporary digital culture is an open cry of our subconscious, willingness to lose in imagination, to completely appropriate not only matter, but also fiction. The links between what is physical, earthly, and organic and what is imagined, speculated and virtual has become more entwined now than ever before. The data that permeates our everyday life, becomes the new oxygen, and needs enormous energy resources and social costs. Data that tells about truths and phantasms that produce artificial values, but also reveal our innermost secrets and desires. They are a new world of ghosts, in the post-sacral world of dataism, their architecture permeates the earthly globe like X-ray waves, at the same time having real, very energy-consuming sources. Time becomes frantic and multiplies. Computer players of only the 10 most popular video games spent a total of 19.2 million hours reconfiguring data and frying more energetic cakes of artificial capital.
In the installation, we will traverse the topographies of the geometric grids of the invisible cartography of our planet. We will gain access to invisible, hidden, yet strongly present virtual layers. Using the video game and ship cockpit convention as a fantasy of human cosmic escape from Home, we will move to dataification, energetic implosions and black holes absorbing the planet's material resources, cryptocurrency mines, exchange servers, social networking sites, NFT auction houses, Earth's greatest game battles video, and Real cyberwar.
