[Texto disponível apenas em inglês] esot_Erica is a new and poetic investigation into natural harmony and geometry relationships.
I am interested in flowers, their shapes and their colors attracts me, I want to know about order, harmony, variety, plurality of combinations of shapes and colors characterizing them.. The basic elements that make up a flower are always the same: petals, stem, calyx, pistils... leaves.

So are the geometrical forms according to which these elements develop. Combining shapes, dimensions, rotations... surprising forms are generated, this is the fascinating point of the matter.
Existence of rules and sense of order and harmony are the juncture of these soft, tender products of nature with the abstract angular shapes of the geometry.

esot_erica explores the magical world of flora and their geometries inventing shapes and flowers.
Applying simple geometric shapes, symmetrical subdivisions, rotations of planes, golden ratio, random changes set by the environment surrounding these flowers (seasons, wind, climate, rather than manual painting techniques) is explored, thus discovering that these plants are never "perfect", you can guess the rule but there is no petal equal to the other.

esot_Erica (esoteric, in italian) name is a provocation that does not claim to have to do with esotericism in the strictest sense, but borrows the name considering how much the esoteric disciplines use the so-called "sacred geometry" the same that governs the construction of living and beautiful forms.
