The piece, drawn from the performance Misalignement, presents a visual allegory of the algorithm, sharing with the audience a self-reflective and repetitive process articulated through verbal mantras. Repetition becomes both a structure and a method, evoking the iterative logic through which algorithmic systems process, reproduce, and transform information.
Through recurring images, gestures, and words, the work creates a continuous cycle in which meaning is repeatedly constructed, questioned, and reconfigured. The verbal mantras reinforce this recursive dimension, suggesting a process that simultaneously observes itself and remains caught within its own mechanisms.
The work intertwines the real and the artificial, exploring the unstable space that exists between them. Rather than presenting these two dimensions as opposites, Misalignement focuses on their coexistence and on the tensions that emerge when human experience encounters computational processes. Their intentions and purposes never fully align, producing a persistent condition of displacement and ambiguity.
It is precisely within this misalignment that the possibility of transformation emerges. The distance between the real and the artificial becomes a space of experimentation, where repetition can generate difference and where unexpected meanings, relationships, and forms may arise from systems that never completely share the same purpose.
