Sobre

[Texto disponível apenas em inglês] BOOT_Audiovisual presents concentrated set GRAYCODE, generated and permutated in real time. Synesthesia as the original idea of sound and image synchronisation is the core principle of this performance.
GRAYCODE provides a language game with terms grey - color and Gray - the scientist Frank Gray who invented the reflected binary code which is essentially being nowadays used in digital communication technologies as the error corrector.
The rotating discs of the Gray encoders correspond to Duchamps rotoreliefs or his Anemic cinema discs with various sentences. Duchamp this way pointed on different possibilities to use of projected image from the narrative one. Thus the obsolete timeline of the story is pushed back by the image and sound momentum which is the main sensory event.
