[Texto disponível apenas em inglês] Soft Containment System is an installation that intertwines soundscape and virtual reality, an embryo that incubates whilst simultaneously recording, cradling and monitoring. A series of columns of spheres mark out the space and function as sound bodies, diffusing fragments of intimate memories.
Through a VR headset, the physical space is amplified and transformed into a virtual environment that creates a tension between memory, perception and the body, between care and control, intimacy and surveillance, presence and simulation.
